From the Pastor's desk
On behalf of the membership of the Holston Valley Bible Church, I would like to welcome you to our website. It is our desire to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be a blessing to others.
We believe our church is a place of Ministry and Worship where Jesus Christ is Lord. We invite you to visit with us at 1641 Bristol Caverns Highway in Bristol Tennessee where you will experience an atmoshpere of LOVE and FRIENDSHIP.
When you visit with us and meet our Church family, we know that you will see how God has truly blessed us. Truly it is because of these tremendous blessings that God has given to us that we desire to be a blessing to you.

Pastor Coffey and his wife Mavis have laboured for our LORD and SAVIOUR here at Holston Valley Bible Church since the church was established in September 1970.
We are grateful for  their  love and dedication to both Jesus Christ and  to us the Church Family.
We are thankful for Pastor Coffey's labour and guidance in the construction of the first church building in which we had our first service September  20, 1970.
In the fall of 1996 Pastor Coffey lead us in another building program. The building of a new sanctuary was completed in Febuary 1998. Our first service in our new facility was Febuary 20, 1998. My how GOD has blessed us to HIM be the GLORY.
The background music on this page is the old hymn "THE OLD RUGGED CROSS" a song in which our Pastor relates as his testimony and truely that old cross made the differance in our lives.

On September 14, 2006 Sister Mavis was called home to be with her LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ. For some 40+ years as our Pastor preached in Revivals and special services in various churches across our region and our regular services here at Holston Valley, Sister Mavis would be found in attendance. Singing the songs of Zion with her family and standing with Pastor Coffey as he preached the GOSPEL, her desire was to touch lives for Jesus Christ. She was an encourager and a great inspiration to those who knew her. She is greatly loved and will be missed by us here at Holston Valley Bible Church.
